Swimming Pool Abri's France Swimming pool abri's are one of the 4 security methods for pools in France approved by AFNOR. All abri's must conform to Norm NF P90-309 This is without a doubt the most expensive way to secure your pool in France. However the advantages of owning an abri can make up for the cost over a period of time. With an abri, you have the possibility of dramatically increasing the use of your pool as heat loss is minimal you can even use the pool all year round if you add a heating system. Debris falling into the pool is obviously reduced and evaporation is not so much of a problem so generally less chemicals are used. There are a number of abri designs available, low profile, high profile, fixed and telescopic abri's. The main cost difference is as with any pool product, construction quality and materials. Pool Abri's can be constructed from both perspex / polycarbonate and glass, aluminium or PVC and prices range from around €6000 euro's up to €100,000 euro's for bespoke and extra large applications.
We have 5 models of abri available. Klassik, Dallas, Casablanca, Acapulco and Monaco. The most readily available are the Klassik and Acapulco models which are mass produced, any of the other designs can be made specifically for most sizes of pool. They are all manufactured from high quality materials by one of the worlds largest pool roofing companies. We have telescopic pool abris covers available for delivery in a box for easy self assembly, these abri covers are made on a production line to a previous specification and are shipped directly from the manufacturers to you. Pool roofing extends your swimming season, reduces evaporation and chemical use, keeps out debris and acts as a security system. Pool Abri covers are becoming more and more affordable, our abris are built to the highest standards but cost a fraction of other makes.
We have other models of abri pool covers available made to your specification, both high and low profile from 75cm high to 2.9mtrs high. Our covers are made from the best materials and are fully AFNOR approved pool security systems in accordance with the French Law.
